The Sawtooth Mountains are a integral part of the Idaho landscape. I captured this reference from Stanley Idaho in 2021. There was some snow on the ground but the mountains had just started to gather snow. My reference photo is one of several in this valley. This particular painting was painted in the studio from my photos.
